Don't Let Corporate Cash Buy this Election!

Anti-$15 corporate interests hosted a fundraiser for Ward 1 City Council member Kevin Reich, part of the council majority that voted to block $15/hr from Minneapolis voters in 2016. Co-hosts included Steve Cramer, president of the Downtown Council, an anti-$15 big business group, and Ted Grindal and Charlie Nauen, two of the lawyers from the firm hired by the Minnesota Restaurant Association to lobby against $15/hour. The city also hired their firm to block $15 from the ballot.

I fully support a $15/hr minimum wage, no carve-outs, no tip penalty - my campaign for Minneapolis City Council Ward 3 is not for sale.

Elected officials cannot serve two bosses: they cannot unapologetically stand with working people while taking money from the very business interests lobbying to undermine workers’ rights.

Sign the petition: I don't want corporate money to buy our elections. It's time to take a stand: don't accept money from anti-$15 corporate interests!
