$15 won! Due to our movement, Minneapolis has become the first city in the Midwest to win a $15/hr minimum wage. This historic victory will raise wages for roughly 71,000 workers, and transfer an estimated $140 million - each year - directly from the profits of some of the wealthiest corporations to the pockets of low-wage workers.
Let's build on that momentum, and create a fundamental alternative to corporate politics-as-usual.
That’s why Ginger is running for City Council, pledging not to take corporate cash from anti-worker big businesses or the developers who are pricing working people our of our city. And while Minneapolis City Council Members pay themselves $80,000/year, Ginger pledges to accept the average wage of a Ward 3 resident, and donate the rest towards building social movements.
Can you donate today to elect a socialist who's not for sale to corporate interests?
The maximum contribution for calendar year 2017 is $600 per person ($1,200 per couple).
